Tour Itinerary
Early in the morning, you'll be collected from your accommodation in Arusha/Moshi or Kilimanjaro/Arusha Airport and transported to Tarangire National Park. Renowned for its expansive elephant populations, majestic lions, and striking baobab trees, the park also hosts diverse wildlife such as giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and buffaloes. Throughout the day, you'll embark on an immersive exploration, observing wildlife in their natural habitat, before concluding the adventure with dinner and an overnight stay at your lodge.
Overnight: Marera Valley Lodge
Meals: Lunch & Dinner included
After early breakfast, the guide will start driving to Lake Eyasi with packed lunches. This tour gives you the chance to interact with the Hadzabe community for hunting and cultural exchange. These are hunters and gatherers for honey and insect in the bush. Lake Eyasi is a seasonal shallow endothecia salt lake on the floor of the Great Rift Valley at the base of the Serengeti Plateau, just south of the Serengeti National Park and immediately southwest of the Ngorongoro Crater in the Crater Highlands of Tanzania. The lake is elongated, orientated southwest to northeast, and lies in the Eyasi-Wembere branch of the Great Rift Valley. During the dry season the lake may dry up almost entirely, especially in drier years, so that Datoga herders and Hadzabe foragers will cross the lake on foot, but in El Niño years it may flood its banks and attract hippopotamus from the Serengeti. It is a seasonal stop for migrating flamingos. In the late afternoon, you will be driven back to your hotel in Karatu.
Overnight: Marera Valley Lodge
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner included
This day tour will have an early start, and for a very good reason. Probably the most famous African National Park in the world, the Serengeti covers a massive area and hosts a rich and complex ecosystem with a noticeable biodiversity. 1.5 million wildebeests, the biggest population of big mammals that still roam the planet, make their migration through the park every year, joined by hundreds of thousands of zebras and gazelles, and giraffes, impalas, warthogs and hippos live permanently in its lands, as well as carnivores as jackals, hyenas, servals and mongooses; however the most popular animals among visitors, commonly known as the Big Five, are lions, African leopards, African bush elephants, Eastern black rhinoceros and Cape buffaloes. And this is just the beginning. After a picnic lunch after lunch you will continue with game drive until evening where you will be driving to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.
Overnight: Serengeti Safari Lodge
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner included
In the morning, embark on a game drive, followed by a departure to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way, we'll pause at Olduvai Gorge, renowned for its historical significance dating back to ancient times. It was at this site where anthropologists Drs. Lois and Mary Leakey unearthed the skulls of ‘Nutcracker Man’ and ‘Handy Man’, pivotal discoveries in the journey of human evolution. Later in the afternoon, transfer to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Overnight: Ngorongoro Safari Lodge
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner included
Following an early breakfast, you'll embark on a descent of over 600 meters into the crater for wildlife viewing. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area boasts a diverse array of animals, sustained by a year-round water supply and ample fodder. Among the wildlife are herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. The park's allure also lies in its dense population of predators, including lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the elusive leopard, which requires a keen eye to spot at times. Our itinerary includes a visit to Lake Magadi, a sizable yet shallow alkaline lake nestled in the southwestern corner of the crater, renowned for its flamingos, hippos, and various waterfowl. Later in the afternoon, we'll transfer to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Overnight: Marera Valley Lodge
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner included
Today, you'll embark on a journey to the haven of primates and aquatic birds. Lake Manyara National Park boasts stunning panoramas and diverse habitats, including acacia woodlands and subterranean water forests. Despite its modest size, the park sustains a rich array of animal species and vibrant bird populations. Among its notable residents are baboons, giraffes, elephants, and impalas, while the park's lions are famed for their prowess in climbing trees. Following an exhilarating game-viewing experience at Lake Manyara National Park, Later in the afternoon, we'll transfer to Arusha or arrange for airport drop-off.

We were quite shaterred after the long flight, but he know spot on how to make us feel welcomed and excited about the adventure to follow - he even thought us their famous song there, which i will not reveal, so I don't spoil the surprise. We then booked a trip with Pandu, to swim with the dolphins and it was one of the best days we had while there. Maxine Irvine2024-08-10Pandu and his team provided great excursions for us while in Zanzibar. We visited Prison Island, Nakupenda beach and Stone Island. On the beach we had a very tasty seafood lunch. This is the freshest seafood we have ever tasted. On Prison Island and Stone Town we received lots of information about their history. Great full day out! We also went to Mnemba Island which had the most turquoise water I have ever seen. We snorkeled, got our pictures taken and ate tasty fresh fruit. We also spotted wild dolphins and swam with them. Truly once in a lifetime experience. Thank you Pandu and your team for showing us your beautiful island and organising everything so flawlessly. I would highly recommend. 10/10 service and great value for money. Asante sana.Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
